Vacation Photo Postcard Set - FabScraps

Vacation Photo Postcard Set by Dana Tatar for FabScraps

Hi! I'm sharing a set of photo postcards that I created for FabScraps with the stunning new Call from the Wild collection. Before I share some details about these cards, I want to mention that a percentage of the sales of this paper collection will be donated to the Wildlife Conservation Network, a group that provides independent wildlife conservationists with the tools and funding they need to succeed.

I borrowed some vacation photos from my cousin to personalize these cards. I used faux paper stamps, clear stickers, and washi tape to embellish these cards, which helped keep the design flat so that these cards can actually be mailed.

African Wild Dogs Photo Postcard by Dana Tatar for FabScraps

These African Wild Dogs captured my heart. My African teammates assure me that although these dogs look cute, they are most certainly wild and untamed! All those who wish to not be eaten up very quickly need to steer clear!

If you'd like to create a set of photo postcards I'd love to see your version! Here's my instructions:

Supplies:
Call from the Wild – Vanishing C91 003
Call from the Wild – Extinction C91 006
Call from the Wild – Endangered C91 007
Call from the Wild - Clear Stickers C91 001
2 Blank Postcards

White Cardstock
Washi Tape
Brown Dye Ink

Directions for the Elephant Postcard:

1. Cut a piece of Extinction patterned paper to fit the back of the postcard. Adhere the patterned paper to the back of the postcard. Cut a piece of washi tape to length and stick it along the bottom of the postcard.

2. Attach an elephant photo to the left side of the back of the postcard.

3. Cut an elephant stamp from the Endangered patterned paper. Ink the edges of the stamp with brown dye ink. Place the stamp over the bottom right corner of the elephant photo on the back of the postcard.
